“KitchenomiKs is my answer.”
The story
Aankush Bhatia has spent, by his account, 25 years in food, hospitality and the experience economy, working across India and Oman and on more than 200 restaurants and outlets. His earlier experience included Ohri's Group, Essel World & Water Kingdom, Megabowl and Kingdom of Dreams, and he was general manager at Zouk and the BLS Visa Centre in Muscat. He went on to found Privé in Muscat. He is now founder and CEO of KitchenomiKs, which he describes as an Oman-born, technology-led hybrid food platform that runs its own food brands and supports other operators. The company's website says it was founded in October 2021. Bhatia says the operation includes a 30,000-square-foot flagship kitchen and six satellite kitchens, has served more than one million meals, and has raised and deployed $6.7 million over four years.
