The story
Nauman Ali is the co-founder and CEO of Orbii, an intelligent lending infrastructure company that helps financial institutions and merchant platforms in MENA launch and scale lending programs. A computer scientist with 18 years in data science and AI, Nauman built fintech platforms at Microsoft, the Bank of England and Credit Suisse before founding Orbii in 2024.
Orbii gives lenders one platform for the full SME credit journey: intake, origination, decisioning, servicing and portfolio intelligence. In September 2025 the company raised a $3.6 million seed round. In 2025, more than $350 million was processed through the platform, which handled up to 15,000 applications a week at its peak.
