With Base, we're building AI infrastructure for running your business; applied AI tools that sit on top of a system of intelligence that brings context and persistent memory together. We want to do for running a business what vibe coding did for building a product: close the gap between having an idea and making it happen, so founders can spend less time managing complexity and more time building their vision.”
The story
Caroline Hazlehurst is a growth and operating executive with 12 years scaling venture-backed technology companies as President, COO and regional VP, three of which reached unicorn valuations. She scaled Moove globally, took Bird EMEA from 0 to 90+ cities in 18 months, prepared Calo for IPO, and ran more than half of Deliveroo's global business. She has built and led organisations of 1,500+ people. Now Co-Founder and CEO of Base, Caroline is building AI infrastructure for business operations that connects a company's tool stack and resolves it into one queryable company brain, built on a knowledge graph. Her earlier career was in private equity at Bridgepoint and M&A at Rothschild.
