Why it matters
Brimore gave small Egyptian manufacturers national distribution through a network of individual sellers, most of them women, who resold products in their own communities. By 2022 it had about 75,000 sellers in 27 Egyptian cities and more than 300 suppliers, and it built its own fulfilment arm, Milezmore. Its $25 million Series A in 2022 was led by the IFC and Endure Capital.
