Koita Foods: Mustafa Koita
Founding MENA · 1:02
A problem at home pushed a Boeing executive into an industry he knew nothing about.
After moving from the US to Dubai, Mustafa Koita struggled to find the kind of organic milk his family had been used to buying. His eldest daughter was reacting badly to the milk they found locally.
So he entered the food business, learned it through trading and distribution, then went back to the problem that started it all.
Koita launched with just two milk products and almost no marketing budget.
Today, the brand is stocked in 12 countries, and Mustafa still owns 100% of the company.
