Pure Harvest uses controlled-environment agriculture to grow produce such as tomatoes and strawberries locally in a region that relies heavily on imports. It raised a $5.8 million seed round, described as the MENA region's largest seed financing at the time, and in 2022 closed a $180.5 million round that took its total capital raised to $387.1 million.
