Trendyol became Turkey's first decacorn in August 2021, raising $1.5 billion at a $16.5 billion valuation in SoftBank's first investment in the country. At the time it served 30 million shoppers and more than 140,000 merchants and delivered a million packages a day. Alibaba has been majority owner since 2018.
